SSC Important Notice : Submission of Option-Cum-Preference
Candidates who appeared for Paper-II of the Junior Engineer Examination, 2024, must submit their Option-Cum-Preference for posts and organizations. This submission is mandatory and will be facilitated through the official SSC Headquarters website (https://ssc.gov.in) under the “My Application” tab.
The submission window will remain open from 09.12.2024 (5:00 PM) to 13.12.2024 (11:59 PM). Upon successful submission, candidates will receive a confirmation email on their registered email ID. Physical submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

- Final Submission Is Mandatory:
- Candidates are required to ensure that their Option-Cum-Preference is submitted within the stipulated period.
- Failure to submit preferences will disqualify candidates from inclusion in the final merit list or final selection process.
- Option Revision During the Submission Period:

- The last submitted preference will be treated as final and binding.
Instructions for PwBD Candidates
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates must carefully select preferences for posts that are suitable for their disabilities. Refer to Para 5.1 of the examination notice for guidance. Allocation of posts will be based on the “merit-cum-preference” principle.
Note: If a PwBD candidate is selected for a post unsuitable for their disability, their candidature will be canceled by the concerned user organization.

- The Option-Cum-Preference submission portal will close on 13.12.2024 at 11:59 PM, and no further extensions will be provided.
- Any grievances or requests related to this matter received via post, email, fax, or in person will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
